I am trying to create a formal lab for future use taht involves step by step testing of certain ic chips and diodes. my question to anyone with the knowledge involves knowledge of the 7447 bcd decoder. in the first part of the lab a 4 bit binary counter is shown. the first step is to figure out how to find the pin assignments on a comman anode 7-segement display (this has been done) the next step is to test the 7447 decoder by giving it a binary inpout 0 to 9 (so any input from 0000 to 1001) in order to get the 7 segement display to display the number inputed to the display. i have asked a few people how this can be done and i have looked it up online and i cannot find anything to help me. thanks to whoever has the knowledge and those that do not thank you for reading this post which is SO much longer than the others.
