Hi, I would like to start a project building a satellite analyser controlled by an arduino. So for the start i need (generally): 1. Arduino mega board + an 3,2" TFT Screen. 2. A satellite tuner. I can remove one from a spare sat receiver. As i read their PLL is controlled by I2C interface so you can select the frequency and they provide demodulated I and Q baseband signals. How can i use these signals? Do i need a decoder chip? After some search i found the TDA 8044 but i cant understand how to use its outputs. My thought is to control the tuners frequency with arduino, scanning the one of the 4 bands and show the lvl of the frequencies as a signal on the screen.
