  1. If there is a video conferencing system being installed somewhere it needs to be tested. We have a VC system set up in our office, purely for testing purposes. If there is nobody in the office we want to still be able to test a newly installed VC system. We can do this by calling the system set up in our office. The only problem that arrises now is, how can you test the audio if there is no one in the office to talk to you? So if we set up a 5 second delay, the person who is installing the new system can talk, (so our office can hear it) then 5 seconds later it should be played back in our office, near the Microphones, as if there was someone in our office talking back to us. This would give the impression of somebody talking to us which means it is possible to test the audio from an installation site even if there is no body in our office.
  2. Thanks, A computer isn't really practical for this operation though. Its for work, it needs to work if there is no one in the office. We only have lap-tops, they are often taken out to jobs if you know what I mean? We just wanted a bread board or something set up able to do it at any time, even when there is no one else here.
  3. hi all, I want to make a circuit that will take in Stereo audio from a system, then delay it by 5seconds and play it on a speaker through an amp. Any ideas? Thanks. Nialll
  4. I'm using a 2 D type flip flop's. I dunno if my diagram will appear, hopefully it will, i'm new to all this. The chip i'm using is a 74LS74, i'm using a 10K square wave pulse. If my diagram posts, I was originally using the output C1 from between Q1 and D2. I have now changed it bit I think my power supply has decided to act up so i'll get back to you when I figure it out.
  5. No we have to built everything, well I think we can buy certain parts if we're really stuck, not sure though. How do you shift the phase back upstream? As the name would suggest, I really am quite clueless.
  6. Hi All, I'm currently doing a project for college, Design of Switched capacitor filters for a PCM Speech CODEC. I am to use a biphase clock to drive the switches on the capacitor. This is where my problems begin. I do not know how to design a biphase clock, I was told to use a johnson counter, but when I implemented this it just gave me 2 signals in phase. Any help would be appreciated.
