WHEN I TRY TO HOOK THE RECORDER RIGHT INTO THE EARPHONE JACK THE VOX SENCOR WILL NOT WORK PROPPERLY. I GOGGLED THE PROBLEM AND FONUD OUT THAT I NEED A ATTENUATING PATCH CORD. THERE ARE LOTS OF SITE SELLING THEM BUT I FIGURE WITH ALL THE PARTS I HAVE , I SHOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE ONE. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FIND A DIGRAM THAT SHOW ME WHAT TO DO. DOES ANYONE HAVE A IDEA?

a simple attenuator uses just 2 resistors, so that impedance would stay in acceptable level u should know both output and input impedances of both devices. then it's quite easy to calculate values and make attenuator from pot and 1 fixed resistor, or just 2 fixed resistors.
