Maybe that's why the author completely re-designed the circuit in this forum:http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/pc/023/and used 74AS parts. Our project was never updated.www.farnell.com has millions of parts. Click on your Aussie flag on their site.I don't think that the project will work anyway, with its IR sensor diode connecter backwards like that.
