As far as I understand, you would have to create the parts in the schematic editor. Otherwise the schematic and board would not be able to match. Then you could lay them out in the board editor and auto route the parts. I do not think there is an easier way in the more advanced programs. In a board layout program such as Mental Automation's SuperPCB or Ralph Lindstrom's PC BOARDS, you can just copy, then paste blocks of the layout. This is possible because the board layout is not determined by a schematic.
