Radiowavesonly seem to be feasible in shallow coastal waters.I was wondering how hard it would be to make a shallow waterlocator. One that would simply tell the receiver which direction thetracker was in. eg. by the signal getting stronger (not depth etc)when the antenna points in the right direction.Thanks for any ideas, ut's purely out of interrest ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you connect an antena instead of the photoresistors and put it on a motor, it will turn to the direction of the transmiting circuit. Ofcourse You will need a filter for that...
