qbarkhuizen
I would like to build a battery charger which will charge a 3.5V battery from a 9V supply. But I'm woried about the charging current that the battery will draw. What would be the easiest way of limiting the charge current to about 100mA. audioguru
Hi Qbarkhuizen,Welcome to our forum. ;DJudging its voltage, isn't your battery a Lithium-Ion or LI-Po? They require a special charging technique to prevent them from catching on fire. You don't want to be near Lithium that burns, a fire extremely hot like magnesium. :o
prateeksikka
connect a suitable resistor in series with the load permanently.i.e in between the load and o/p of the charger.however hardly u need any limiting at such low power levels.is it a mobile phone charger.i guess a 1k resistor would do.prateek ;D
