Jabber
Hello you guys.In the Projects->audio section (http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/017/)there is this a amplifier project to be built.I've gone through the schematic, and found some fails. For one thing, the Basis and Emitter of Q5 is shorted, witch is NOT ment to be as it will blow up the transistor. The second fail i've found is that the Resistor R6 is placed wrong. If you place it the way the schematic shows, you will have a short between the Emitter of Q2 and Basis of Q3, witch is both NPN transistors. My adwise is to build the amp after the PCB (it seems correct) rather than using the Schmatic. If someone out there have tryed to build this project i wouldlike to hear from you, maby you have some tips for me.See ya. ;D
audioguru
Hi Jabber,Welcome to our forum. ;DI noticed the errors in the schematic too last year and posted a fix for them. I don't know why the schematic in the project wasn't corrected and why my post doesn't show with a site search.
GreekPIC
SmartKit usually includes deliberate errors in their schematics. If you buy the kit everything is ok. If you try to make it from the schematic, no joy...I don't know why the schematic in the project wasn't corrected and why my post doesn't show with a site search.Do you mean this one:http://www.electronics-lab.com/forum/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=2488;start=1#msg15286
