I've heard that the maximum watts allowed on a remote control is 1 watt. so what do I need to modify on my remote control to get 1 watt out of it. here is a link to the type of remote control that I'm using. http://www.linearcorp.com/product.asp?product=DNT00052APlease tell me what to do as though I was 5 years old. You can get a good picture of the remote control that I"m using if you follow the link that I posted. Would adding a frequency amplifier be an option and if so, how would I add it to the remote? ante Posted January 23, 2006 Report Share Posted January 23, 2006 Yes that’s my point; improving the antenna by fitting one!Adding an amplifier would of course help but it will also complicate the circuit and consume more energy from the battery.An example: if I attach a only a short piece of wire to the output socket of my RF signal generator the signal can be picked up around the block instead of just on the top of my workbench! ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
