Hi All,

I am trying to get some help designing and building a remote control system that can turn on and off pairs of LED's.  I am a theatre technician and we are trying to create 8 sets of battery powered LED eyes that can be turned on/off at the same time from a remote switch.  We have a bunch of 7.2v RC batteries availible but we can buy anything that will work best.  I have been researching IR switches but haven't found anything for a battery powered set-up that is easy to follow.

Any help in this project would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks,

DJ

well i did this long time ago.
drawback in IR is u have to maintain direction.
try to get a cheap RC car(china made) remove motor from receiver and connect LED's in series or parallel according to ur LED count throght some resistor(to protect the LED)
if the LED count is high, connect the output to relay from which u can power a lot led's
