Switching +ve and -ve to a coil

Recommended Posts

I want to drive a coil (connected to gnd [0]) with either +3v pulses or -3v pulses. I have a micro for the control and have logic to ensure that both voltages can not be applied at the same time. The problem is the drive.
I could do it with relays but dont want the bounce and ring plus I want reasonably  :-\quick switching times.
I was going to use NPN / PNP darlintoms (TIP22/26) or N&P channel mos FETs but cant seem to work it out. I only want to use minimal components so I did not want a H switch. I need to replicate this circuit 5 times so minimal comonets is a must. BTW, the coil is about 5 ohms.
Your help and any suggestions are appreciated .
