diceman
I want to drive a coil (connected to gnd [0]) with either +3v pulses or -3v pulses. I have a micro for the control and have logic to ensure that both voltages can not be applied at the same time. The problem is the drive.I could do it with relays but dont want the bounce and ring plus I want reasonably :-\quick switching times. I was going to use NPN / PNP darlintoms (TIP22/26) or N&P channel mos FETs but cant seem to work it out. I only want to use minimal components so I did not want a H switch. I need to replicate this circuit 5 times so minimal comonets is a must. BTW, the coil is about 5 ohms. Your help and any suggestions are appreciated .
