I now want to extend the project and make the robotic arm mobile; ie, have it mounted on a vehicle. I've planned on using dc motors to drive the vehicle. The problem lies in the sheer weight of the robotic arm, which suppose is between 2-2.5 kilos. I found no dc motor which could drive such a large weight.
