Miditron interface - touch sensor

Hi

I need to use Miditron, a sensor-to-MIDI interface (http://www.eroktronix.com/), in
an art project.

Since I have no experience in electronics, could someone please tell me
if this touch sensor (http://www.acroname.com/robotics/parts/H9-TOUCH-SENSOR.html) is compatible with the Miditron interface? If not, are there any other touch sensors that are compatible with Miditron?

Would I have to expose the cables of the above sensor in order to connect it to the Miditron interface terminal strips?
