Chess Clock using ATMega 328 - using Induino/Arduino

Recommended Posts

It all started with my kids asking for a chess clock and i thinking of building one instead of buying it. using an existing Induino (Indian version of Arduino UNO) ATmega 328 board. I housed it in a small home built acrylic box and the end result looked like this - as  shown in the image.

I used a 4.5V mobile charger to power this unit. The features include -
Features:
---------
1. 4 modes of play to select from - MATCH, BLITZ, CHAMPIONSHIP, MOVE TIMER
2. Buzzer indication starting 10 secs before end of game. Time is configurable.
3. Visual indication of whose turn to play

I enjoyed making this one; hope you too find it useful. Source code is attached - some commented code is present that needs clean up.
