Guest houdini101
I am working on a project to sense current via a current transformer and then transmit this analog signal wireless to a multi-function meter. I do realize that i could convert the analog signal to digital then transmit it and then do the reverse at the receiving end. Can any one tell me how i go about converting the digital signal to a wireless signal ?And can you clarify if i do indeed require to convert it to digital before transmitting it can it be transmitted as an analog signal? You help would be much appreciated
redwire
How far do you need to transfer the signal? Have you looked into XBee modules? This guy has a 5 part series on features and setup. The video starts out kind of weird but the content is excellent.
Guest houdini101
thank you for replying, well the idea is to sense current and voltage and transfer the data remotely to an observation station,so i would say the general area a big building would cover.I will have a look at your link. Please dont hesitate to give me any suggestions as im new to this area so any new ideas are welcome.kind regards
