I was referring to the circuit card that controls the motor. Ed
I said I was bailing from this topic but I can't seem to keep my mouth shut.
Here's the situation.
(1) It took forever to get a photo from the OP.
(2) Nowhere in this thread were we made aware that the controller was an after-market add on. I believed that this was an existing controller/motor package that failed.
(3) Throughout this thread we kept reading "induction motor"... not!
(4) After divulging that the controller was after-market the OP returned it to the supplier. If we had known it was after-market we would have asked for a link to the product. This way we could have determined if it's the proper controller for his motor.
Hey, I'm simply burned out here. Moving on.

Am sorry if i did waste your time by any way , but i learned some useful things in this topic.
Chris, we must realize that we are dealing with people that don't have the experience that us older people have so we must have patience. It's my humble opinion that you are looked at as someone to learn from by the beginners that come to this site which includes me. Not just someone who will help solve a problem. As for me, I'm 72 years old and have been doing this electronics stuff since 1957. I am a retired Boeing flight test engineer but no better than others on this site. I too, am open to learning as technology is hard to keep up with. You obviously have a good background as displayed in your comments. Nothing beats experience! Ed.
