I ordered an LED panel thing for my mini fridge. The bulb that was in there before was one of them tube ones with a metal cap on either end. It arrived today. I plugged it into the springy thing with caps on either end that it came with. Peeled the back off the sticky part. Stuck it to the inside wall of the fridge. Then popped that springy cap thing into the thing that held the bulb. When I let go of the switch it turned on. Worked fine. But I wanted it inside the plastic shroud. So I changed that and it worked. But there was a dark silhouette on the plastic shroud from the wafer. So I figured I'd just stick it to the wall on the inside of that little compartment behind the bulb holding bit. But I touched the edges of the wafer to the tabs of metal for the bulb holder thing. there was a tiny little spark. Now it don't work.

I figure at the very least I have to get a new wafer. Thing is this fridge is pretty quite. doesn't do anything most of the time. So I can't tell if I just ruined that part or broke my fridge. Not sure what to do.
