Datasheet for MA2831 regulator

Hi every body

Hope you are fine and have good times.

I have a sony X50-ME VCR and its power supply does not work.

I checked and found that the MA2831(Japan 18P with seven terminals) regulator within the power supply is broken.

As the parts of these devices can rarely be found I would appreciate if anyone who can give me the datasheet of this type of regulator.

This datasheet willhelp me alot to simulate the regulator.

Hello,

The closest to be found is the MA2830.

I did find a russian page with a schematic using the chip:

OK so it isnt a regulator, it's a SMPS controller IC
