I will wire it up like you said first in your message.
If it doesn’t work then may I need to do the balancing resistor thing with it.
But I’m just hoping that it does work by just wiring it straight up.

If there are 2 sockets. one for the signal and one for the shield, then ok.
BUT, if it is the one socket, you will need RCA plug.

Honestly, sometimes it's like talking to a brick wall.

I'll repeat my previous warning although I doubt it will sink in, be careful what you connect where as there are high voltages in there, both AC and DC.
