What can I use instead of a 27R resistor?

I'm working on a Commodore VIC-20 diagnostic harness project that requires the use of two 27R resistors. I only have 22R and 47R resistors right now. Can I use either the 22R or 47R instead? I don't know much at all about resistors. Sorry

And we know nothing about your circuit.

The 22 ohm will obviously be closer to the desired value, but the lower resistance might create an overcurrent situation. It *really* depends on the rest of the circuit. Please post the schematic.

If you use two 47 Ohm put, them in parallel will give you 23.5 Ohms. With that said this is a diagnostic harness ;I would wait & purchase a 27 Ohm 1% resistor.

Here's the hand drawn diagram cassette section that was created by Ray Carlsen. It's a loopback connector for testing the cassette port on an older version of a Commodore VIC-20.

You could use 3 x 22ohm resistors in series and then placed in parallel with the 47ohm resistor which will yield 27.45ohms.
