hello i need help with my panasonic home theatre

hi, i have panasonic sa-pt150,and i havent used it for couple of years,when i turn it on it turns properly and then it says hello then there are multiple dashes (------) on the screen can you help me???

This may not help, but it's the first thing I'd try:
UNPLUG the unit, wait 5 minutes, plug it back in and try again.
So many of my modern electronics need to recycle their control board.
Just turning it off doesn't work, you need to unplug the unit from power.
