    240 single to 380 3ph

NZ English has been my first, and only, language for over sixty-five years. Like Bluejets, I find your post very difficult to comprehend. There is a lack of punctuation, so your sentences run together confusing the reader. This could possibly be because you have stated that it is dictated...

Wire splice terminals ferrule crimp connectors - soft metal issue

I would be more inclined to suspect insufficient crimping pressure if you can pull the wires out.

    DIY car taillights into lamp

I would assume that the light is sealed, so you can't get at the LED's. Hopefully you could get the vehicle plugs and a short piece of loom from a wreck. Local Ford dealer might give you a copy of the taillight wiring diagram, otherwise Dr Google, or trial and error. Good luck.

Want a particular switch to cutoff my auto ac from my stick shift.

Sorry, but I am not sure what you are trying to achieve? Do you have a manual car with a floor mounted gear change shift and want to turn the air conditioning off and on with switches on the gear lever?

    Altium designer schematic question

Agree with you on this Dave. Dots mean joins, no dots mean no joins. I absolutely hate diagrams with those silly hoops where wires cross without connecting.

    LED not working

Unfortunately, the LED replacement bulbs bought from most sellers on eBay etc are built to a price, ie CHEAP! Suggest you try some of the local auto shops to see what they have to offer.

    My relay is too hot

Relays heat up to some extent because of the current flowing through the coil windings. The amount of heat produced depends on the applied voltage and the coil resistance. If there is a suppression resistor connected across the coil this will also produce a bit of heat. Small automotive relays...

    Inverter fan question

What is the maximum input voltage to the inverter from the solar PV? Need to check it against the inverter specifications to ensure it is not above the 15v maximum limit.

    Simple Hall sensor alarm circuit?

Will that circuit actually work? Shouldn't the collector of the left BC547 go to positive through a resistor, instead of the negative side of the buzzer and LED? Why not just use a single NPN transistor?

    CAN Bus

Interesting to see another 12month old thread pop up again. I also note that the original poster only ever made one post. Is it possible to have a pop-up that advises that the topic has not been inactive for a long time, so probably not worth replying to?

Help with force-detection in a motor for a linear actuation system

John Brooks in Christchurch NZ supplied me a current limiter to go with a Linak linear actuator. It goes in series with the actuator and cuts it out if the current gets above a set limit. You could try the Aussie Linak agents.

    UT61E multimeter AC measurement issue

Is it just AC voltage that has the issue, or is it also on other measurements, eg DCV, Ohms, etc?
