    4-20mA circuit issue

Agree, seems it's a scaling issue.

Analog signal amplifier with OpAmp, Transistor or Darlington Pair?

From the headline, opamp is the obvious choice. A non-inverting amplifier with 1.258'ish amplification and in the opamp amplifier circuit, you need the local ground having stabilized 1.5V as well. That is, you need as well as a good opamp circuit (not like the old 741) -> Accurate set of...

    One more schematic clarification

Wild guess, but only thing I can think about is the dots are related to a visible spot on the components - may help finding the correct pcb trace.

14 pin Relay socket from 1970's - want help to map out wire terminals

Hi. Where I work, there are a facility that was made in the 1960's and that is still in use. It has being upgraded several times and I believe there was a massive upgrade in late 70's - at least according to wiring diagrams. During a repair job on this facility I faced a problem (partly due to...

could you identify this IC code

The photography isn't just good enough to determine the number only by looking at the text(and yes, I tested enhancing it in Gimp). So this is what you should do: Try to take image from same angle, but better resolution, and instead of using blitz use an external light source from another...

    Dell Laptop Touchpad......

Since the thread was created in 2014, then it's pretty safe to assume none of the laptops in question had W10 pre-installed, most probably Windows 7 or 8. If the laptops are still physically usable today, is an open question. However, as W10 drag more resources and for W11 those laptops are out...

How is first figure drawn here in fuzzy logic? I know how second figure is drawn tho.

Software tip: In Inkscape, you can draw any arbitrary shape (closed path) - draw two overlapping shapes and you can do boolean operations on those. Um, is it just me felling the Deja vu ?

automatic forward reverse motor with limit switch and relay

It's very possible. You should getting to know how to set up relay logic, latter diagrams. e.g.

    Easy pulse generator

If you already have an oscillator producing square waves, then short pulses can easily be achieved by using one AND-gate where one input are connected to a RC circuit. I think there is one of those that TTL chips have schmitt-trigger inputs, but doesn't remember it's number.

    Can’t figure out textbook graphic.

You should re-draw / relocate the order of the resistors and assigning designators and numeric values so it gets manageable to work out the solution. Just remember that on those kind of stripboards, the each coloumn are connected.

Shredder rewire - 230Vac motor with four wires

Looks like one pair goes to the stator and the other pair goes to the rotor. Identify those pairs and I assume they're supposed to be connected in series (if it's the motor I think it is). Just use diode test to identify each pairs. NB: Important - if you've missed the original coupling, the...

HDD sata power pcb cracked not broken

I think the most simple solution is using a hot glue gun, appending mass around/between the PCB and the hdd casing.

Ah, thanks - I missed out on that

Simple relay hack - but noise from long cable run

The circuit you've drawn doesn't look correct. According to that, the switch (missing reference designator) short the relay coil - so that you probably ending up burning the internal circuit. A relay is not sensitive to normal noise.

Well, no - making what Audioguru suggest are very doable in contrast to your other suggestion.

    Solve this please

Well - problem is it's pretty much impossible to tell without a schematic. You need to be able to know what components are feed directly from DC source, and then make an assessment on whether each of those would be able to stay alive through the double voltage. And of course there would be two...

    Motor configuration help

Without detailed knowledge of the fan motor itself, it's a guesswork at best. Since the relay arrays is arranged in such a way there are two for +12V and one for extra ground AND that the relays are marked "fan 1" to "fan 3" there may be one of, or a combination of: The fan symbol is actually 3...

    Motor configuration help

This might be an obvious question, but I know some cars do have double cooling fans in front. My old (now scrapped) X-trail was one such car. So the question: Does your car have two separate fans ? Otherwise : What car model is it? Can you post an image of the fan and especially the connection...
