    Each LED strip can be controlled via a fet, each pin sits on the gate of each fet, a darlington pair is a second option, there's not enough current from an arduino pin to fully saturate an npn without damaging tge arduino

    Even without the battery the light should light... I'm with whoever said the diode is to blame, also is that red safety capacitor good? No shorts?

    A transistor tester off of evay for about $15 they tell you the pin out, measure capacitance and inductance, so worth the money for testing components with Atmega transistor tester

    Indide a dry battery / heavy duty battery, we have the shell casing to act as the negative, and the "rod" inside is the positive... Excuse my ignorance but... a carbon rod, is that not the same as a ferrite rod? I can pull out of an old radio? I've been making batteries tried copper/zinc/other...

    The fb page was and is just that... info about what this is.. I used to use yahoo chat for programming bouncing ideas off in real time it's far quicker than waiting around for emails, i had an idea for finding users when moderation is added but until then it's just in test stage..
