    Parallel Bridge Rectifiers. .

I did... (5amp/13v multiply it for VA) but that's not the point The point is, i can't use them in parallel without balance loading, so i'll use 4 diodes as i normally do without using these all in 1 bridge rectifiers ... But Steve, in every bridge rectifier circuit i've ever built, i always...

    Parallel Bridge Rectifiers. .

4 diodes (each carry 1amp max) In a bridge rectifier combo, what is wrong with doing that? (They won't be in parallel)

    Parallel Bridge Rectifiers. .

Yup i got 4 unused (2amp / 240vac) but i got a feeling i might need to use like a 0.1ohm out on each to load balance?

    Solar Street Light

If it's a 1 - 1.5v driven then use the qx5252f ic , that way you can select the appropriate values (eg 1ma to say 300ma) The beauty of the 5252f is that it deals with charging the battery, turning on and off via the solar panel when dark/light And it's got under voltage protection, when it...

    Parallel Bridge Rectifiers. .

My bridge rectifier died, but i have several 2amp rectifiers doing nothing, AC side it can supply 5amps at 13v (AC) to 19v when rectified.. Can i just parallel them? Otherwise i'll dump these and use 4 regular 1 amp diodes..

Will it effect laptop's battery if I use charger connected when fully charged?

I've abused lithium cells and they don't really care that much what you do providing you don't drain it to dead, i think 15% is the lowest you should go... Other than that float charge (i have lithiums scattered over the house as mini ups's for led lights in a blackout)

5v from 12v is this viable?

Yeah, 5v via the emitter straight to a 12v supply! Ebay for a cheap 12v audio amplifier

I'm talking about testing them without lifting them... But if there is a short nothing will light up, a 500 ohm resistor/5v will do

The answer is, why yes it can! (But it sucks)

Power supply dead. Pictures inside... repairable?

The damage looks like psychical damage not so much something went wrong How did the copper track get exposed like that? It's like something metal was just jammed in there causing a short.

    Peltier

Yes, but a 30w peltier can power the phone, but it requires quite a lot of heat I took a cpu heatsink placed a peltier on it, heated up the heatsink and got a few watts of power out.. But, you need a way of keeping one side cool, maybe a metal can of water, a heatsink alone Is not good enough..

    DIY programmable battery charger

A Microprocessor makes it easy, after the bridge rectifier it will read 19v you need 13.8v to 14.5/15v to charge it.. So cull the shunt, cull everything except the bridge rectifier/ caps (and transformer) so we get 19v dc out Thus the power supply, 40amps is a fair amount of current, with a...

Help repairing fish tank led light

Infact better still.. Get a resistor and a 3-5v power supply and individually test each led, i still bet one of the tracks has just rusted (where each led leg is soldered), rinse in isopropyl is another option
