    Eico 324 inductors

Yes if you knew the low and high value of the variable capacitor, you can determine the inductance. I have a chart that lists frequency and L and C impedances. A long time ago I saw a parallel tank circuit that used a 5-30pF variable but no value for the inductor. At 30pF it resonated at 70MHZ...

Power supplies not working on Sony ICF-SW7600G

If resoldering doesn't work, spray the jack with contact cleaner or WD-40. The contacts may be dirty.

    Help identifying toaster controller/timer chip

Are you sure that chip is the problem? If so, perhaps you can use the PT8A chip and alter the pinout with wires to the circuit board.

    Help identifying toaster controller/timer chip

Welcome. It looks possible they replaced the chip with a microcontroller. The 8 pin PIC series that I use has pin 1 for B(+) and pin 8 for (-) ground.

    Schematic Needed for Ballantine Oscilloscope

I saw your posts on another forum for this. I scoured the internet and found nothing. I believe you're going to have to do some basic troubleshooting on your own. What is wrong with it? From experience, I have found that before I do anything on older electronics, I clean all switches and...

    Signal lenght detection

I’m not at my workbench now so I can’t be too specific but it sounds like you need a simple R/C arrangement that will delay the transistor from turning on until the capacitor is charged. Try the output through a series resistor, an electrolytic to ground, then another series resistor to the base...

CD songs distorted badly first two or three songs.

Open the unit up, locate the laser lens and clean it with a cotton swab wetted with contact cleaner. You can use rubbing alcohol but if you do, wait a while before playing a CD as rubbing alcohol has water content.

Sansui 7000 Receiver with weak FM

If parts were still available, you could order an F-1323 front end module. And I'm sure it is a sardine can by the shielding in the schematic. You can check the IF for amplification but if it is OK then you have to open the module. I just found this...

Sansui 7000 Receiver with weak FM

It can be anything but if you have limited knowledge, just replace the front end FET. That might solve the problem. Otherwise, you would need your signal generator and scope to test each stage for amplification from antenna down to the 10.7MHZ IF stages. Posting a schematic would be helpful...
