    Hi, Received my dmm yesterday and do measurement on resistor R27(reads 1) while R28 reads 882 ohm. It looks like R27 need replacement. Is R27 a 600ohm 5 band type resistor?     Fyi, after reading your replies, i checked the bios battery and it reads just 0.19v which no doubt is dead. I changed to a new CR2032 by solder the old battery tab to this new one. Switched on ac power and press on power but it still shut off after 2 seconds.

    Flourescent light issue

    You mentioned the bulb stops on dim meaning it stays dim. When you lightly touch a bulb, it fully lights up. Try tighten the bulb connection, could be something loose.
