    Bass Box

Hi Audiogu, The bass box has one speaker of 6 ohms (60W i think) its not so powerful but its enough for me  ;D. I think 60W-100W amp will do well. There is a low-pass filter into the box so i think i need only a power amp, right?

    Bass Box

Hi guys  :) I want to make an amplifier for the bass box in my car (eg 100W). Can you recommend one of the circuits here, or you may have another one in another place  ;D Thanx

    Field Effect Transistor

Hi, How can I see if this effect transistor 2SK2605 works normally? should i test it just like the other transistors? you know a transistor has B C E , the 2SK2605 has Gate Drain Source. Help  ;D

    Bass/Treble System

Okay, I thank you again Audioguru for the support and I might ask many many times again in the future  ;D. I'll do what you recommended and i'm sure it will work better because i trust you  :). I also wanna thank Staigen & Alun  ;D Best wishes, Mukhalled

    Bass/Treble System

Thanks, Audioguru (my teacher  ;D) for the clear explanation. So my amplifier is overloaded now  :-\, what can i do to not overload it (to make the impedance suitable, in other words 4ohms)? But the problem is that I'm a little bit stubborn  ;D, I wanna keep those five speakers ( 2 tweeters, 2...

    Bass/Treble System

Can't I measure impedance with ohmeter? ( with ohmeter I meant true RMS) isn't it the same thing? i may chose wrong word

    Bass/Treble System

hi, I had already seen the lables of the speakers and calculated the impedance of them. The tweeters 8ohms each, 3-way speakers 4ohms each and the woofer 6ohms. if we calculate the one side without the woofer it will be 2,67ohms impedance, but the woofer is connected to both sides so how shall...

    Bass/Treble System

Hi Audioguru, I didn't add 4ohms, it was just the ohmmeter which showed 4ohms.

    Bass/Treble System

Hi again, It was hard to draw schematic circuit so i took the one that Audioguru did before and made some changes on it  ;D. When I measured the impedance like it shows in the attachment, I disconnected the amplifier and it was not 4 ohms but i added some resistors in parallel, then it became 4...

    Bass/Treble System

Hi Staigen & Audioguru, I will draw how I exactly connected the five speakers and I'll show you how I measured thier impedance  ;D, but I might be wrong  :'(.

    Bass/Treble System

I meant speakers no. 4,2 and ( "1" is connected to both sides) have 4 ohms totaly. and the same thing for 5,3 and 1 = 4 ohms , I have measured it. The tweeters have caps in series and the woofer also has an inductor connected in series

    Bass/Treble System

The impedance of each side is totaly 4 Ohms. Yes they have crossovers built in. ;D

Hi Staigen, This is the amp I've built : http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/audio/006/index.html

    Bass/Treble System

Hi, I have a different question today  ;D. This is my speaker system in my car (the attachment), Did I connect the woofer in right way (speaker no. 1)? 1 = woofer 2 & 3 = 3-way speakers 4 & 5 = tweeters

    Electronic Memory!

I can buy a new CD-player to my car but I think it's cool to build my own things  ;D

    Electronic Memory!

No, it's connencted together with the amplifier and they get the voltage from the (electric lighter, cigarette lighter) which is not always powered. I don't want to connect the audio system directly to the car battery because i might foreget to switch off it, then the battery may be "finito" ...

    Electronic Memory!

Hi Audioguru, they are in the same connection  ;). It uses 1A at 5V and 1.5A at 12V.

    Electronic Memory!

hi guys sorry to late. What i'm using is a CD-drive "reader" which we use in our PCs which needs +12v and +5v, and it has an audio output ... sorry about my eng it's a little bit hard to explain ...
