    Help Identifying MOSFET ?

Lots of Parts LOOK the Same, But MOSFET's AND TRIAC's are TOTALLY DIFFERENT Devices.

    Help Identifying MOSFET ?

If you can get them there, OK It Isn't just the Supply Voltage being 12 or 36 Volts.. It can be a High Voltage Inductive Kickback from a Motor. I can Easily Supply 6 or Many more. I would have sent 2 for free, plus Shipping cost But for 6, I would do it for 3 pounds plus Shipping Cost.

    Help Identifying MOSFET ?

I can't find anything on that Part Number, But I would Guess it is an "N" Mosfet, rated at 70 Volts and 80 Amps. Seems Strange such a High power MOSFET and No Heat Sink? Probably a STP75NF75 would be a good replacement. The Y5163 04G, is Just the manufactured Date Code. I could send you 2 of...

Heathkit IG-102 RF signal generator repair

I Have that Same Heathkit RF Generator and With the Probes. Built it MANY YEARS Ago and it Still Works Good

    Multimeter Question

You could make a Low 0.1 Ohm or 0.01 Ohm, "Shunt Resistor", Than measure the Voltage across it to get a direct readout of the Current flow.

    What is this device

That Strobe Probably needs 12 Volts DC to make it work.

Alternative Transistors for LM317 High Current Voltage Regulator Circuit

Whichever Transistor you use, It will need a GOOD HEAT-SINK on it.

    Help with Schematic?

Probably be better with a 12 Volts Supply. And that 10K resistor is Only be suitable, if the thermistor also has a suitable Resistance to create the correct voltage range into the LM324.

    Start Run Motor Capacitor

Yes it Will be OK to use it. However since it is a LOWER Capacitance, You may Still lack the POWER on RE-Start.

Electrolysis (on as cheap as possible)

His Unit is putting out BOTH Hydrogen and Oxygen at the outlet. You need to Separate the gasses to store just the hydrogen. And from his Switch arrangement, probably using five 110 VAC Outlets to get over 4,000 Watts. NOT VERY PRACTICAL. Strange, I Don't see any Bubbles in the Actual Cell! And...

Electrolysis (on as cheap as possible)

I assume you want to Inhale this Hydrogen to make your Voice Change like Helium does. Should be Interesting as to how your going to collect this gas. Not LIKELY you can get it into a Balloon.

Electrolysis (on as cheap as possible)

My Opinion is: If it is Worth Doing and you want Good Results, I suggest you do it the Best way possible.

Electrolysis (on as cheap as possible)

It still contains a LOT of AC.

Electrolysis (on as cheap as possible)

If you want Pure Hydrogen, You need PURE DC. Rectified AC without Filter Caps is FAR FROM BEING Pure DC. Even With Large Filter Capacitors, it is NOT as Good as a Battery. Also your Hydrogen Apparatus should be a "U Tube". Assuming No Back Pressure when Collecting the Gas, This will Separate...

How fragile are diodes? Can you screw them up soldering them?

Most Plumbers solder is 50/50. My Iron is 50 watt and Not Temperature Controlled. Never been a Problem, even with SMT Parts. I have even used my 100-140 watt Weller Soldering Gun on 1N4148 diodes. Never Damaged one yet, But I am Quick.

    555 RC voltage rating

What makes you believe his load is 1K? He doesn't say.

    555 RC voltage rating

Why 7 Frequencies? And a Transformer will NOT Increase POWER. It Just Steps up Voltage but at a Reduced Current.

    Fan speed control

Look AGAIN. One Capacitor is Actually Between the Positive Input to Negative Ground Rail. The Other Capacitor is between the Output to The Negative Ground Rail. Not to the Adjust Pin.

    Fan speed control

    That would be OK.

Your 2K Trim Pot, Should be a Fixed resistor of 240 Ohms. (or 220 Ohms is OK)
