Bertus. I think you are right in that it came with an Audrino kit

    Is this possible to do?

@AG- mine handset has a Line in Use text, but it is so DIM that is hard to see. That's why I sought another solution. @crutschow- I think the LED I posted was part of a beginner's electronics kit that I have long discarded. Thus, I have no specs on it.I plan to look up some YouTube videos once...

Seeking Help with a Behringer PMP 500 mixer

Agree with then gigs comment. Never gig with iffy equipment and always have redundant equipment you can turn to if there are issues. No matter how good you are, you come off as unprofessional if you have technical problems during a gig.

    Is this possible to do?

Attached is what I believe to be a multi coloured LED. I don't know anything about how to hook these up. Is it possible to use this LED to flash a different color when the phone is on hook as opposed to off?

    The New Model

@VB- here is a pic of one wall of my gear. There are three other walls that are also full. From left to right: Black Studio Les Paul- An angry sounding guitar. Good for rock. Fender Deluxe American Strat: Great versatile guitar. Quality built. Made in USA. Stage worthy. Played many gigs with...

Seeking Help with a Behringer PMP 500 mixer

Ok. It’s a powered mixer which usually drives passive monitors.

    Toast or Useable

I managed to find some free software that imported all then local channels I can get, into this scanner. I can no longer get the police (because they are encru=ypoted now), but I can still get ambulance and other things. Better than having it collect dust ;-)

Make sure you are not using a passive mixer with a passive speaker.

    Question about new schematic- Metronome

@AG-I'm glad I tried it and we got it to work, but I've determined that this is not a good application for me. There are many ways to access a metronome, including free apps. I mainly wanted to see if we can get it going.

    Series or Parallel?

Thanks AG. That's good to understand. I think getting 40 minutes out of a battery is not bad, in the sense that it would likely cover one full night. 4 sets a night. Probably use it 5-10 minutes per set, if that.

    Series or Parallel?

Here's a video of one that Idid a while back. I forgot how I did it . I think I was trial and error. https://drive.google.com/file/d/16bNSDsEKiL9_18JeFjgH3aR8leoS1Np0/view?usp=sharing As I recall, it was one row of LEDs, powered by a 12 V battery.

    Question about new schematic- Metronome

I also noticed that if I remove one of the LEDs, it still works and it flashes just the one LED. I'm not sure if the designer of this circuit intentionally wanted the paired click, and perhaps that is why he had two LEDS. But I think a metronome is easier to work with if it had the one click...

    Question about new schematic- Metronome

The other issue is that it seems to start at 140BPM. A metronome should be able to start a lot slower and go upwards. I'd say 60bpm to 180BPM is a good range. But this starts at 140. Maybe the double click may be more workable at a slower bpm.

    Question about new schematic- Metronome

Well, the mystery si sort of solved. The 55 Timer is, in fact, flawed. When I ran the wire to Pin 1 of the 555, rather than Pin 3, it worked. So, AG, it seems that you were right. The 555s I have are not normal. Over and above that, the flashing and the audible ticks, are problematic...

    Series or Parallel?

Please see the attached pic. You will notice a frame painted black, sitting between the two pickups. That frame will surround the chrome pickup that you see below where the frame is sitting now. My idea was to have LEDs on the frame (5 on top, 5 on bottom and two on either side_- so I guess 14...

Electric guitar, in this case. A Gibson studio Les Paul , to be exact. I have already built the little frame that the leds would sit on. I will post pics later

    Series or Parallel?

Hey guys. I think we have gone from a ‘bling like’ device to flash my guitar’s pickup, to a colour organ driven by sound. I did not realize the led around the pickup would be as complex as it is. I would like to stick to the original idea, if it’s possible. As mentioned, it would be flashed on...

    Series or Parallel?

In a sense. However, a mic that has incredible isolation as to only respond to a single instrument amongst many, sounds impossible.
