Nes (Famicom) clone - Audio not working on composite output, sounds choppy on rf.

Possibly....but it's not what you said. Again for your benefit....... guidelines, assume nothing, expect the worst, check everything. About time this is locked away as it's going nowhere.

Need help with sourcing a resistor for a Peavey XR800F Plus

Actually yes, but in this instance it is clearly visible at being R137.

Nes (Famicom) clone - Audio not working on composite output, sounds choppy on rf.

I doubt any of us in here are your "bro",........ however most advisors follow the guidelines, assume nothing, expect the worst, check everything.

Need help with sourcing a resistor for a Peavey XR800F Plus

Same same....they appear to be ballasting resistors for the output transistors to avoid thermal runaway. I'd be searching for a couple of blown output transistors.

Nes (Famicom) clone - Audio not working on composite output, sounds choppy on rf.

I'm guessing this would be the unit you ripped out the original regulator components and replaced with a 7805. ...plus component under the adjustable slug looks damaged in one of the photos (..................... 605.jpg)

A Little Help for Brainstorming Ideas

A limit switch only closes momentarily when the car ( assumedly) hits the wall. The switch will resume it's "off state" once it comes back off the wall so hence back to the uC to monitor switch states. Can be overcome with a relay or two or spin the drive motor around mechanically. If wheel...

Need help with sourcing a resistor for a Peavey XR800F Plus

Whatever that is .......... ??? if you have the schematic, post it here. Sounds like 5w power resistor 0.22 ohm.

A Little Help for Brainstorming Ideas

I doubt that a week will be enough time to design and test any prototype.(should have started a lot sooner methinks) With the number of possibly inputs/outputs required to achieve what you want, I'm sure an Arduino would be the way to approach the project. Place to start would be a flowchart I...

Advice cleaning game cartridges without causing corrosion

An everyday run-of-the-mill pencil rubber (white one) has been found to be a good tool for cleaning contacts such as this.

Plug speaker directly into line input on old car radio amp.

    SOP14 to DIL14

I can see what I need to, no problem there. It's getting the hand to stop shaking as the iron nears the job that is the problem. That plus the chip sticks to the iron and then falls onto the floor, never to be seen again. (unless one can see fly shit from 200mm that is)

    need help identifying a transistor

If you had a component tester ($20) you could simply clip it in, check parameters and select from possibly a gazillion replacement possibilities.

    SOP14 to DIL14

Soldering those tiny mothers can be a REAL challange. Use plenty of flux if using an iron and use flood soldering with cleanup vis wick later. .....or solder paste and a heat gun. In future I'll be buying the chip already mounted on an adaptor pcb.

swimming pool pump remote solenoid control

This is normally achieved via a basic timer and pool water monitoring devices. (and possibly one of the kids or neighbour once a week) If you have a pool, stands to reason you must have the dosh. If I were you, I'd be getting some local pool tech to advise on your best approach. Seeing what you...

swimming pool pump remote solenoid control

...................and just how remotely would that be? One could simply use an off-the-shelf remote switch and wire the relay outputs on the receiver to the start and stop button contacts. A 2 channel momentary would probably suit. They are available with latching or momentary outputs and cost...

    My relay is too hot

Shouldn't heat up to any extreme as it is the coil and designed for the job. Just what is it you want to do in simple terms instead of supplying possible (not plausible) answers. Show a circuit (block diagram will suffice) of what you want to do, Below is a basic relay pinout to get you...
