limiting a heating element in a water heater?

Advice is given as for one, you asked for it, and secondly a warning that sealed containers with heated water can become a bomb if no protection fitted.

limiting a heating element in a water heater?

That depends on purpose...if for comnmercial dishwasher, also other special purposes, then high temp remains. If for hand washing etc. same place, then there , as in domestic, outlet temp is regulated down by a mixing valve introducing cold water to a set constant lower temperature. Heated...

    Arduino and 65c02 sync/clock

Might be advisable to do a refresher on English first. Coding can be rather particular. "Commodore PET"

    Tumble Dryer Heat pump problem

yes, not pumping.......or you've grossly overcharged it and it's still not pumping. get a new system. Might be good lessons to be learned if you look up the dangers of "playing" with that particular refrigerant.

limiting a heating element in a water heater?

It might be "a way" but as mentioned above it is not "the way" . "The way" is a thermostat, usually set below 70 degrees AND an over temp cut out (both in the same unit) As an added precaution against the possibility of "all fail", an over temp/over pressure relief valve must be fitted to at...

    Tumble Dryer Heat pump problem

Take it back to the service people. R290 not to be fooled around with. Other than that, sounds like it,s not pumping. What are the low pressure side pressures before running and after around 5 min run.....?

Not working 12v dc to 220v Ac

Use a mosfet driver or buffer the drive from 12v to the 2 mosfets with a couple of transistors.

    Switching Power Supply Short

I doubt you have a meter to measure down to 1 milliohm......do you mean 1 megohm?....measuring has to be out of circuit ....

    Switching Power Supply Short

rectifier diodes, capacitors, switcher ic, mosfet switchers....all could be suspect but you need to isolate and test each.

    Motorcycle on sensor

One aspect of this contradicts the other. Ignition switch is normally the primary go, no go device. So with that in mind, what was the intended isolation device? Accessories are normally routed through the ignition to stop unwanted flat battery conditions.

What is causing this voltage spike?

You don't say exactly how you come to measure these voltages. That was my point. So when you arrive with unexpected voltage readings, one simply assumes not done correctly.

    Li-ion Battery

Try it and see. Plug the multimeter into it and see what the cut off is. I'd be keeping a close eye on any $2.00 charge module just the same. Doubt one could ever leave it unattended. Be careful with the 1A charge current though...............battery university web site will give you best...
