    shaded pole evaporator fan motors

The fan has nothing to do with the rated cooling output of the system. Most of the 150 odd watts the motor draws would be converted into mechanical energy, not heat energy.

Hardware control of a long lifetime system

If anyone knew anything remotely like that, they'd be very rich indeed. Unlikely though as technology moves on. Your idea may well be old hat by then as well.

    NiMH battery pack mystery

The batteryuniversity site has a lot of detail on all types of cells. Might be a good stop over and do some study. To begin with, many of these cells are overrated in output capacity if (most likely) they come from China. Then any capacity may well be a 10 hour discharge rating or "C" rating as...

    Ceramic Capacitor question(ECS Module rebuild 91 3000gt)

If it's automotive, 50v rating should be fine. My question is, why replace ceramic caps, electros maybe once in a blue moon, but ceramics....???

Fluorescent replacement LED tupe light connections

Now you are just raving....... waste of effort .......let the moths out of the proverbial wallet ......just buy a new fitting and be done with it. Perhaps where you live but not in Aus, in fact the opposite is the case. All those mongrel tubes have been chucked out long ago. Ask any...

Fluorescent replacement LED tupe light connections

Nope, ones we use down under, inductive ballast no longer affects and not required at all. One can leave it there and pass the line through it as it normally would, no problem. As most of these are made in China, suggest you look at different supplier or do as previously suggested and bin it...

Without any photos of what you are talking about, your guess is as good as anyone elses. Provide some details.

automatic forward reverse motor with limit switch and relay

I'm curious just where the negative of the 12v is supposed to go. Drawing error?? If it's the little down arrows then one had better hope the relays are break-before-make type.

Fluorescent replacement LED tupe light connections

Many of the fluor LED tubes will simply "drop in" with zero wiring modification. Starter is replaced by a supplied fuse in the shape/form of the old starter and ballast and all wiring remain. Ballast no longer has any effect on the operation as long as it still has a circuit through it. Normally...

automatic forward reverse motor with limit switch and relay

Yes, but the size of the power supply will depend on the load requirement. If you don't want any mechanical switches for the limits, you can use optical slot sensors. Possible to do with relays or microcontroller, the latter would remove the need for a separate timer.

Power an Arduno via slip ring?

In theory should be ok BUT there is the ever present problem of perhaps noise and requirement for extra power regulation. If so it could possibly be overcome by transferring a higher dc level and regulate on-site so-to-speak. Slip ring power transfer like anything with low voltage could create...
