What happens when I try to use a 12V rated LED bulb in a 3.7V light fixture?

Most of what I see is guesswork due to lack of information...not insight.

    Issues with PIC16F1503

That would depend on the details you haven't included on what you are trying to do.

How is current passing through the capacitor in the following schematic?

Your diagram #3 is not complete but if you refer to the original you will see transistor junctions that allow certain current flows.

20v pack down to 2v is knackered anyhow...no, charger arrangement not suitable either

What happens when I try to use a 12V rated LED bulb in a 3.7V light fixture?

Pretty much self explanatory I'd have thought. Is what you show the complete light unit..? Trying to get a handle on exactly what you have there, a link to where you bought it would possibly help also. Any LED with multiple chips would be, as mentioned earlier by a few answers, 12v. So it would...

What happens when I try to use a 12V rated LED bulb in a 3.7V light fixture?

I think it about time you showed what the actual complete fitting is. Might be helpful.

Antenna Design to Capture Atmospheric E-field Gradient

If I remember correctly , there was a device used in rc aircraft way back when ( pre-1980's) that used small radio active components from old smoke alarms as a reference for level flight using the earth's vertical voltage differential. These days it's much more user friendly with component...

How change the Frequency of a 555 timer with another circuit ?

Have a look on talkingelectronics site...along with many tutorials etc. are full details on 555 use and all free. http://www.talkingelectronics.com/te_interactive_index.html Scroll down to the 555 area.

What happens when I try to use a 12V rated LED bulb in a 3.7V light fixture?

Adding the extra cell for more run time would mean adding the cell in parallel to the existing cell. Still have 3.7v .....trying to run anything 12v from a 3.7v source would vary, depending on exactly what the 12v load consisted of, any result from dimwit to simply will not work.

someone to settle a LED confusion that i have please

I cannot see the need for an "extra" 470 ohm resistor but the existing one may need replacing with a different value. The calculation for the resistor value changes due to the different voltage drop across the LEDs as you have already realised. The calculation is just basic ohms law with the LED...

9 LED UV disco light - remote control issue

No, what they said was, that is what it "seems" to be. Presence of the antenna sort of blows that idea out of the water.;)

convert 110v dc to 110v Ac

It would even be feesable to run a dc genset just to charge a battery for perhaps an hour or so. Then run the negligible current circulating pump via a small inverter for many hours, possibly a full 24 hours.

    Bench power supply upgrade

Easy enough to use small converters to give the voltages you require and forget resistors etc.
