    Looking for a countdown relay

Found one example here....just pick which output as this uses the 9th pulse, you need 5 so pin 1 to drive your relay through a transistor or small mosfet. With the 4000 series they will run on anything from about 5v up to around 15v dc. Trigger will be your switch but you will probably need a...

New To This Forum, Want To Learn More About Electronics

Try looking through TalkingElectronics web site...plenty of stuff there and mostly all free. Animations, circuit examples, books and projects covering discrete devices as well as ones normal chips and microcontrollers. http://www.talkingelectronics.com/te_interactive_index.html

    Looking for a countdown relay

What resets it...? or does the motor now run for infinity once it sees the first 5 on off pulses? Unit could be a basic counter made from discrete chips or a simple program to an Arduino Promini with the output driving the motor through a mosfet for example. For discretes, look for 4017 chip...

    Relay With Circuit Board Feedback

Pretty standard interposing relay arrangement. Drive the coil from whatever in the system to be monitored, then the dry /voltage free contacts feed back the closure of the relay to the monitoring equipment. Could also be any number of other alternatives such as opto isolator.

    Strategy for Over Voltage

Once again, the normal approach is via both voltage and current regulation. Nothing new here. It's been going on since Henry Ford and possibly before.

    Strategy for Over Voltage

Why is it a problem? How does it get overvolt level? Any associated equipment would normally be fed via regulators.

    2.5K Ω , AC motor, actuator

AC synchronous motor, usually they have a spring internally which winds up and releases only if the motor starts to run in the wrong direction.

    Strategy for Over Voltage

What size voltage levels and what is the source and ac or dc etc.

    Component identify

More than likely an OEM component. Any identification numbers written adjacent on the board top? Why did yoy need to know anyhow?

    Hobart H65 dishwasher

Anyone have access to a wiring/schematic for the Hobart dishwasher model H65. No water coming in, low voltage to the inlet valve,(70V) sort of points to a problem on the uC board. Doing other strange things as well. Water heat starts with no water and tank pressure switch kaput but isolated.

Nope....but I can definitely foresee a motor going up in smoke on the horizon.

    display for project

If you show everyone the circuit you have there, it would most likely lead to a readily available alternative. So, once again show the project details.

Single phase motor - wiring questions

That will light the lamp but that's about all. It's a rather large motor so I doubt it will turn. It may give different levels of "slightly dim" if you're lucky.

probably connected together at the neutral.

    display for project

........and it is.....What? Google seems to think it's a 7 segment led display so if that is the case, then there are many alternatives. Just need to know whether common anode or common cathode. So....post a copy what you have there........

I'd get your "Google " checked as first up came this....many others also. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000764736600.html Actually, for US$6.00 you can get 4 of them.

Single phase motor - wiring questions

Supplier will void any remaining warranty if this motor is not fitted by a qualified lecky. I'd be inclined to follow that line of action after as Kiwi said, contact the supplier and don't fiddle with it, Better than even chance you'll end up with 2 stuffed motors and no warranty otherwise.
