    Hi Dead, Usually the balance control on a stereo amp is a single pot. Your amp probably uses one pot to attenuate one channel while the other boosts up to 3dB. In the center position then both channels are attenuated 1.5dB. Do you have a schematic?

    Hi Alun, You found some excellent articles about antennas. ;D I don't think it is possible to use a tiny antenna then transmit a high power from it on the FM band. Unless you have gobs of power to waste.

    Hi Smit, Your U3 isn't working properly and it and U2 have a supply voltage higher than their absolute max. You should use opamps rated for 44V like a MC34071CP, TLE2141CP or uA741A.

    You just look in the datasheets to see what the IC's do and need and add a transistor as an inverter to gate the 555 with its reset input pin 4.
