    Digital display

One possibility would be is you could replace the existing pot with a "dual" version. One section would then replace the existing unit and the second would follow the settings but isolated from the welder circuit. This second unit could then be fed into say an Arduino analog input and the...

Another Newbie question about Power supplies

I have a 4 cylinder car so how fast will it go. See the problem..?? Assumption is your 9v battery is a common smoke alarm battery so current in mA. The internal structure of the battery limits the amount of current supply and the life span. A site Battery University has a great deal of reliable...

    Momentary Switch Bypass

I'd say off hand, any mods are beyond your understanding. Perhaps a local friend with some degree of electronics knowledge would be a big help.

    dc electric bike questions

Again, you cannot measure open circuit current, not possible. What meter are you using and what range do you have it set to. Post photos as that is easier than some way out explanation. As a side note, expect a visit from the moderators as double posting is a no-no. 2000w heater/220v = 9...

    Momentary Switch Bypass

As I said in #2. As far as the "smart plug" is concerned, details of how it works would also be necessary. What is the smart plug output, relay or semiconductor...?? If it has a programmable momentary output and is a set of dead contacts, all being safe etc. it can simply be wired across the...

    Momentary Switch Bypass

So to get this in perspective, you want to connect some form of alarm clock contacts to this aroma thingo, correct? I would be inclined to think the 3 wires are negative, 1 switch wire from the momentary switch and one back from the main board as an LED indicator. As this is really just...

    Need help understanding this circuit

No. If you look closely at the video you will see the "span of the pins" is 4 holes wide. What appears to be (from your point of view) a short is actually the bridge line from pin 8 to pin 4. The pins 5 to 8 are one space further over.

    dc electric bike questions

How did you measure any current flow with zero load..? Not possible. What is this 2000w electric heater..? 220v...?? How did you measure the 17A load..?? Fairly well known that a fit adult human can produce (for a limited time) approx. 1/7 hp or 746/7 = 100W approx. So @ 24v this is approx. 4 Amp.

    Current sensing using Arduino

Could be but I'm not familiar with minimum levels. I know digital inputs are a bit quirky with any levels of resistance over 10K I believe. Mob over at Arduino forum might be your best bet.

    Current sensing using Arduino

Power supply rock solid..?? You may need to average the readings over some range perhaps 10 as this often happens with analog. I have found the INA219 on I2c to be more suitable.
