    Stepper Motor problems...

    Found one unit that uses an Arduino to drive a stepper for a speedo readout. If you are familiar with Arduino it shouldn't be too much to modify for your wind speed as it's simply a pulse input. Pulse would I imagine just come from a hall effect and magnet on the anemometer...

    Keep away from connecting to the ground wire. Already told you about that. It's there for fault current conditions and connecting there can be dangerous.

    Normally it's 0.1uF. If you are working from a battery it probably won't matter much in the circuit you have there. Try to keep circuit as a circuit drawing rather than "as built"...makes it difficult to follow, not so much for this but others may get more complex. Also normally the transistor...

    Wasn't across the load...that's what drops across the regulator. That by the current gives the wattage the poor old regulator has to dissipate, hence the suggestion to drop the input to a lower level.

    12v ac is 12(rms) * 1.414 = 16.96v peak To go the other way 16.96v * 0.707 = 11.99V rms.

    I think he removed link B-C and refitted cable A to C which would be correct. Perhaps the controller just does not like low voltage. Wondering what is the extra cable from terminal "F"...?? Hidden wiring does not help.

    So now the low voltage indicator is out......... and you now want to by-pass the pressure switch ...... and have the pump manually run from 4 locations......??? Yes, can be done but not without running cabling ...... /or using some form of wireless control. Depends on the size of the pump...

    The Spektrum operate a standard rotary encoder mounted sideways with the roller mechanically pivoting on the encoder end and the free end in a guide with a standard tactile switch mounted below the axle of the roller.

    So you only wish to monitor that power is available to the pump via the isolator switch and NOT that the pump is actually running.??? So where is the switch and pump located in respect to eachother, where do you require the warning light to be and where is the power fed from?? Perhaps a pencil...

    Photos 1,2,3,and 4 and possibly 6 are good, the rest are not much use. Need to see internal details of the unit it plugs in to ...bit of a description about what it does would help. Chips are op amp and flip-flop and 2 wires would be power to start with. Can trace some detail from your good photos.
