    Hej Bjorn, Welcome to this forum! Do you really see many 2N3055 as switchers? I think they are more likely to be found in linear systems. Mosfets are more common in switchers and even other bipolar like the BUV types. It’s not even a very good switcher but cheaper than mast any of the rest.
