    Replacement relays?

Generally does not matter, only if (rarely) there was an internal BEMF diode. M.

Direction of Current in AC circuits.

If this is just a common reference then use the correct symbol. See Dr Archambeault's comment!. In actuality, in your diagram there is no real need for a common reference point. M.

Direction of Current in AC circuits.

The Earth ground symbol in this context has no meaning. In the true definition of the symbol, it is irrelevant. This just indicates that one side is referenced to earth ground. In normal practice termed 'Neutral'. M.

    SMALL CNC SPEED CONTROL

The way the (free) Mach3 program does it is with a PWM signal and a D to A circuit changes it to either 0-5v or 0-10v analogue for the VFD etc. What is the origin of the present 0-7.8v signal? Is this a Treadmill board? I assume it is not one provided by Emco? Can you output a signal when the...

    SMALL CNC SPEED CONTROL

So are you looking for a digital to analogue method for controlling or subbing the pot input on the controller? M.

    SMALL CNC SPEED CONTROL

IIRC M26 is set the axis to zero reference when issued? On some it is send Spindle back to zero ref. Although there is varied definitions and meaning depending on the controller M.

    SMALL CNC SPEED CONTROL

What CNC controller are you using? Here is a schematic of the popular Gecko G540 that may help in a digital to analogue conversion. Is this an ex T.M. & motor board? M.

    Stator Windings Clarification

I thought it was explained fully graphically to you in the other forum, what didn't you get? Each phase has a N&S pole. In the case of a two pole motor, each phase has 1 pair of poles. The four pole motor was also shown graphically! M.

Resistor Value (R4) on Precor 9.23 Treadmill Motor Controller

Generally the T.M. manuf never provides a schematic, the only hope is that someone has 'reverse engineered' it. The more popular MC60/MC2100 has some reverse engineered versions out there. A Google search using the part No off the board might do it. M.

replacing control panel on Treadmill with potentiometer

I think there is a little confusion as to what exactly the pot refers to, the OP did say 'replace the control panel', Which to infers that he wants to use the motor board as a stand-alone unit. Not use a pot to directly control the motor. M.

replacing control panel on Treadmill with potentiometer

Like I said the MC2100 and some others will not do it with a pot, it requires a PWM signal, this was sent down from the console in normal operation. The older MC-60 had a 5k-10k pot that would do it. This was a SCR bridge controller. So far the OP's board is unknown. M.

replacing control panel on Treadmill with potentiometer

I assume the OP is asking if he can substitute the control console with a 5k pot into the motor control board. That is the way I read it anyway.;) M.

replacing control panel on Treadmill with potentiometer

What is the model of the motor board, I designed some for the MC2100 series that require a 20Hz PWM control signal. These use a pot and a start & stop P.B. This is when using the motor controller in a stand-alone installation, drill press, sander etc. M.

    Bypassing Treadmill safety switch

I thought it was two conductors but now I see +5, G & S. most likely scenario is the signal (S) either has to be taken to G(nd) or +5. You could try either. M.

    Bypassing Treadmill safety switch

Most T.M. safety switches are N.O. contacts held N.C. by a magnet or circuit with only two conductors it most likely is a prox sensor which opens the two leads to operate. A little reverse engineering of the pad should show it. M.
