problem on controlling motor dc with arduino

I suspect it is either the duty cycle of the PWM is low or the transistor is not switching full on? M.

problem on controlling motor dc with arduino

Test the motor direct on the power to the board, if OK then your transistor may not be turning full on, are you switching on/off or PWM? Use a Logic gate mosfet to drive the transistor. M.

    Rotating motor direction

For starters the Induction motor in #13 does not have rotor poles until the current is induced (Induction motor!) in the shorted turns created either by aluminum or copper bars, without these the motor will not rotate and resemble a large choke or inductance to the applied AC. The skewed...

    Rotating motor direction

Take a common 1ph induction motor, if the start (direction) winding is disconnected, the rotor will remain stationary at switch on due to the magnetic field oscillating across 180°. If the shaft is given a sharp spin at turn on, the motor will run up to speed as normal, Whichever way it is spun...

    Rotating motor direction

1ph synchronous motors can arbitrarily start in either direction, applications where it is important for the direction to be consistent such as wall clocks etc, there is a spring loaded clutch that fires it in the opposite direction if it attempts to start in the wrong direction. M.

Secondary or Primary? Either way, just duplicate the original method. M.

    Record player motor voltages

By power supply, do you mean the 240v AC in? Or? I would assume it was connected to the same AC input point as the radio, there must be some kind of switch in the R.P. power circuit. M.

    Record player motor voltages

If it is wired as per original then there should be no problem. M.

    Record player motor voltages

Agreed, they use synchronous motors, so if 200/250v I would guess you are in an area that uses 50Hz? If you ran it here in N.A. (60Hz) your records would sound like the chipmunks!;) M.

Help a blind man in electricity

Not sure I follow, the US pint of water is 16fl oz and the Imp pint of the same is 20Fl oz . The Imp Lb is 16oz. The Imperial pint is used in many places of the world mainly due to a left over from Imperial Britain. which covered 1/4 of the earths surface and a 3rd of its peoples. Getting a...

Help a blind man in electricity

It was the 'World around' that I had the issue with.;) The way I learnt it was 'A pint of water is a Lb and a quarter'.:) M.

Help a blind man in electricity

Canada and most of the rest of the world uses the Imperial pint, 20fl oz. I figured the US changed it to 16oz to match the same number of oz's in the US pint. as 16 oz's to the Lb weight.? M.

Help a blind man in electricity

There was a lot of expressions I had to get used to when moving from UK to N.A. One was the term ground for Chassis common and Earth. In UK it was two distinct terms, Earth and Ground. Not as it is here, Ground for both. The rhyme reminds me of the US 'A pint is a pound the World around'...

    Does this part exist?

I would think the Idec is available to you as they are international, The AL6Q series comes in many combo's. Push-on/ push off is one. There are also other makes with similar product. M.

The FR502 is a fuse or current limit resistor what do the R526 R530 appear to be in pysical appearance, they may be just WW resistors. M.

    resistor symbols

It is extremely rare for a combination of both resistor symbols either post the application or a clearer picture of the resistor, there is usually other indication if a specialized function. M.

    circuit

Generally triac's are associated with AC controlled devices, although if needing to control a DC device then you would need the triac in circuit before a bridge rectifier for e.g. M.
