“Making adjustments to the potentiometer’s on a Electronmen EM - 285 DC - Motor speed regulator”.

    1. The small graph shown on the datasheet shows the limit setting. For example, at 50% setting (of the trimpot) the main control will output a voltage between 2.5 and 18V (approx). 2. This would be set for the 'stall current' of your motor*. Only you can tell us that. 3. Your understanding...

    Selenium rectifier?

Given its age and unsuitability for modern use the only way the datasheet might be available would be if an enthusiast scanned the original and put it up somewhere. It's actually likely to be the case but unless it has been 'tagged' appropriately you won't find it easily by regular search...

    CAR KEY TRANSPONDER.

The component part of the key that allows the car to start is similar in function to the 'tracker' devices they inject into pets. It consists of a coil that takes energy from the transmitter (in the key barrel of the car) to power a low power transmitter to return the 'code' to disable the...

Newbie needs help identifying/naming amber ribbon circuit

That flex connector doesn't look like its connected to the cells though - the traces are too fine. More likely it is connected to some temperature sensor. Not much likelihood of damaging/exploding the batteries but you still need to be quick about it to avoid damaging the flexi circuit.

Magnifying tool for tiny circuit boards and surface mount?

There are. You could even look at borescopes for use with mobile phones but a standalone dedicated device will be far simpler and not a lot different in cost. A few years ago I bought an old 'viewer' that was originally intended to assist those with poor eyesight to read. The book was placed...

Stuck! I changed the belt on the dymo disc painter and put it back together, it turns on but won’t move

This happens because the rod is either jumping on the thread (inside the 'nut') and is potentially caused by a restriction in movement of the platter. Does the platter move in/out by hand, without catching on anything, when the rod is disconnected? OR it is as a result of the driving motor...

    Microwave ovens ?

You're likely to find the physical attributes of 'used' magnetrons to be totally incompatible - if you can even find one that works in the first place. Most microwaves are junked when the magnetron goes dud as it's the ONLY thing that wears out on them. Unless you want fire and electrocution...

    Remote spray paint tool help

Sounds cool. There are large scale dot-matrix printers that can leave whatever text/make in their passage (wall art etc) in one pass but a spirograph version should be fun to watch. Might be easier to use a flexi coupling from the can itself to individual spray heads (printheads) based on...

    Brushless motor controller

Without knowing your coding you will have to check the IN and /SD pin status to establish if any drive signal is being held high.

    Brushless motor controller

You don't show a common ground connection from the Arduino. The Arduino 0V line must be connected to the common 0V of the +12V and +220V DC supplies.

    Help

As already asked - what is a 'car watering plant'? How do you water a car? If it's a plant then what is a 'car plant'?

    Chinese diesel heaters

Anyone (else) got one? I'd been following these devices on the tube for a while and the general consensus was always positive so I recently took the plunge and got one for myself. This was prompted by an opportunistic purchase of a heating oil tank plus 1000 litres of oil for the measly sum of...

    Remote spray paint tool help

To what end? If this is to try to improve on the method of depositing paint then it's not the right way to go about it. An explanation of what your goal (other than the obvious already-stated case of 'spinning the cans' of course) is would help.

    Samsung Q600B/ZA-no sound,buy schematic diagram

A pointless exercise then. If you thought the EPROM was faulty then replacing the contents with the original contents (as backed up) only returns the device to a faulty state. Reflashing the EPROM is only useful if you have the OEM code or an upgrade as the manufacturer might recommend/supply...

    Remote spray paint tool help

Balance would be the biggest issue. If one can empties quicker than the other the weight difference will be significant enough to cause the whole mechanism to be off-balance and all sorts of trouble.

    hacking a smoke alarm

What country? In the UK (well, in Scotland for sure), fire alarms have to be 'linked' i.e. one goes off, they all go off. Accordingly they are all wireless (or use a signal through the mains power cabling). Mine are after-market units and fully wireless. You may be able to 'sniff' the...

    Brushless motor controller

They are a voltage divider to (in the original schematic) reduce the 12V phase signals from each motor phase to a voltage level the Arduino can accept (3.3V). The Arduino uses these voltages phase feedback signals to monitor and control the motor speed. Since your plan is to drive the motor...

Test for the onboard supplies (they should be within 10% of any on-board marking). What with? You may have just rendered the software and therefore the whole soundbar completely unusable.
