    an analogy would be a car accelerating in 1st gear from 0-20mph in 5 second in 1st from 2000rpm to 3000rpm, then change to 2nd gear and accelerate from 20-30mph in 5 seconds in 2nd gear from 2000rpm to 3000rpm, then change to 3rd gear and accelerate from 30-40mph in 5 seconds in gear 3 from 2000...

    so I make a diagram which I think is sufficient, oh yeah also the blue arc that touches the yellow, the length of that is the circumference of the smaller gear on the compound (orange) so when the weight moves the 2nd lever through an angle of 20 degree the compound gear rotates once! there used...

    yeah also forgot that there is an idler gear between the 2nd lever and the smaller driven gear on the compound gear to make the flywheel rotate clockwise drew out the diagram and realized also it's massively out of scale but I'll get the camera tomorrow maybe and post the drawing, thanks might...

    UPDATE fully made the 5th filter and envelope detector going to solder up the bar graph LED driver for the 5th column as soon as I get a chance! thanks

    the elegoo knock off arduino does a kit 50 projects for 50 quid, I recommend getting a bread board too! these kits come with a breadboard...

    HOORAH :) so I missed a joint on the envelope detector of the 4h filter, soldered the power for the LM3914 bar graph driver into the wrong place and hardest to find was acctually a cold solder joint on the 2.2k resistor 1/4 done, 3/4 left!!! but as promised here are a couple pics:

    something is not right at the moment with the 4th column think I put in a power lead in an incorrect place from the bar graph driver to the LED's, also problem with its filter so I'll go over it again today and take pics when fixed! thanks

    I bought a kit from maplin to make a clock, it was a cool little project with a LCD screen to display the time, although that was a while back!

    so soldered up the rest of the 4th filter and put in the envelope detector, built the 4th set of LED driver chip circuits just have to solder in the LED's power cables the signal wire and a REF GND wire then completed the 4th column will take photo's soon!!!
