    Even at 40mm H2O pressure, the pressure transducers in the link would be operating at only ~10% of their full-scale range (if my maths is correct). I wonder how linear they are and what their accuracy would be at 4mm pressure? How accurately do you realistically need the 'constant' pressure to be?

    If that means you get a reading, but not the value you are expecting, then at least the remainder of the circuit components seem to be working and just the shunt needs adjusting. If it means that you get no reading at all then clearly something else has failed.

    Welcome to maker.pro! I suggest you start by concentrating in turn on the two main items: (1) a timer which can be started with one switch and stopped with another and (2) something to convert a time value to a dual-digit display.

    Welcome to maker.pro! Assuming the compressor is rated for 60Hz the most obvious result would be a speed reduction. Depending on the motor, its windings might overheat because of a reduction in their impedance. Is the voltage the same for the two supplies?

    That would add direct current, hence a constant additional magnetic flux, so won't help. It's the changes in magnetic flux which induce the HV.

    Agreed. A couple of small screwdriver blades pushing on those two little lugs/slots should be able to rotate the ring or top nut ant-clockwise.
