    Clarifications on the PWM signal

I love capacitors, yes. The thing I said, I learnt it off applied science, where you can put a capacitor in the line of ac, and then it reduces amps like a resistor, except with a capacitor. If you did it with a variable capacitor, it would have to be really high frequency PWM, cause the...

    Clarifications on the PWM signal

You can get PWM out of AC, if you put a capacitor in the line, you get different amounts of on-off time if u change the capacitance, but the wave isnt a perfect square, its a discharge curve. (a quarter of a harmonic)

    Clarifications on the PWM signal

I mean on the output line/loop. (if you dont count the resistors meeting it.)

    Clarifications on the PWM signal

I might be partially wrong with what I posted... because I forgot that a voltmeter is high impedance (it has a resistor?), so its not actually a voltage divider, because a voltage divider would be 0 resistance...

    Clarifications on the PWM signal

Just go with what they say, they own the forum, I'm saying the same thing I'm pretty sure, I'm just the additive element. =)

    Clarifications on the PWM signal

I mean by sharing, by you getting a point somewhere between + and - and then at the end, then you get a proportion of the volts. Your right I do say things in strange ways. I think it could be a benefit that i'm different, cause you guys aren't necessarily easier to understand than what I...

    Clarifications on the PWM signal

A resistor as long as it isnt sharing - and + (a voltage divider) wont actually divide the volts, it drops the amps. If your measuring voltage your adding a loop to the signal and it gets a bit confusing (measuring volts means ur mixing the - and +) , if you measure the amps its half, and ur...

Hello and help!! (need circuit to see if a pump did run)

if making a latch seems too difficult, optical latches can be easier to make with cadmium sulphide resistors. but it doesnt take much current to do it, but a simple voltage divider is all it takes to reduce all the power with no waste.

Daisychaining possible w. Remote LED Candles?

Is this that wireless battery thing? ive never even seen it, have u got a link for it being demonstrated?

Does Inductor and Capacitor get heated

they run nice and cool. no dissipation on a capacitor i think, unless u over volt them, then a capacitor will heat up and explode. But I think inductors do heat up? because lc oscillators lose energy as they pass from cap to ind to cap again.

Please help me build a truly silent mouse.

optical would definitely be cool. why not use a piezoelectric ultra sound depth sensor, thats a capacitor too. the sound bounces off your finger, maybe have to source some micro emitter and receptor mini-duo from some sweat-shop in thai-wan to whack on the bum end of your mouse like shape...

we arent allowed to share anything... so we are all lone wolves, we dont help each other. And its not just here, its every damn forum on the internet! Not one ever lets you share your designs, and its not that im selfish, I wished I could look at other peoples as well. Its like the...
