    Select a "12VDC" supply with +/- remote sense terminals. Two wires for power and two wires the detect the voltage at the relay end. The supply would need enough compliance to compensate for the voltage drop in the wires. Not a great solution, but It should work. Ken

    The simplest setup would be a wall-plug timer that can turn on and off at one hour intervals, followed by a 120VAC , 30 second "Interval timer". How much are you willing to spend? The higher the cost, the simpler to assemble. Also depends on the motor type. Ken

    Bad Neutral contact on a 120V-N-120v system? Happened to my farm home. Lamps would blow in certain parts of the house. Some would last a mouth, other times only days. Dad noticed the neutral arcing at the pole during a storm. Electrician came out and tightened the connection and no more more...

    Your or dorke's boards are very good choices. If you are interested in building your own, I did a simple one with a 555 timer. If you just want 400VDC, remove of the one of the doubler stages. Ken
