    May be completely wrong but I think the transformer is ther to amplfy signals to a voltage that would move the speaker diaphram!

    or write up a parts list, include enough for a new winch and the rest of the parts then put your labour cost on top, I feel someone should be competent and up for the job being very serious now!     so my meter isn't a needle in the centre its at the left side when I connect the probes and push a magnet toward a coil, am I looking for deflection to the right and whichever the positive probes wire it's on is the positive lead of the coil? just making sure my new coils have arrived waiting on...
