    Yes, but the centrifugal clutch wont stop the motor from turning and will give the flywheel chance to catch up to speed so that it runs in unison with the winch burning clutch is better than burning winch!!!

    do I need other parameters like resistance's of the primary and secondary anything else etc... also as I mentioned the L3 inductor represents 15watt motor but in thee sim now it draws alot more wattage, any ideas on that?

    I bought a new 8 : 1 transformer because I got the wrong one the L3 represents the motor I will be running, it's a 15watt motor, someone helped me with it a while back, forgotten who! the new one I have bought is 30v to 230v! and is rated at 120watt the 15watt motor is an oven fan motor 230v 15watt

    or perhaps you could point me to a winch that you already know the motor type, for me to buy, and the talk me through modifying a low current controller to handle the high current that the winch needs, maybe?

    Maybe try to get to grips with LTSpice too and download the zzz library http://bordodynov.ltwiki.org/ you can run circuit simulations, it's very good!
