    help with IR2110 chips

so the voltage drops to around 20volts from out put of rectifier into the main circuit in my schematic and I dont know how to keep it around 30volts!!!

so I'm running square wave not sine wave, is there an alternative figure that I can use for square wave please, thanks also where do I put the interwinding capacitance value and how on earth do you change the scale in the simulation window of current power and voltage respectivly

hey up Alec_t, ok so I put in the numbers and now I just need to model a motor for 15w could you give it another go please the wattage that it draws I don't even understand but it's not linear and I think it draws more than 15 watt

    nobody around today??

the blue line represents the power dissipation of the L3 coil (motor) with the parameters 1.3H and 50ohm red is the output of the tranny dark blue and green are the osccilations going into the tranny! the power consumtion by the motor is way above the 15watt that it should be!! thanks

so the guy, gordon emailed back this is exactly what he wrote model VTX-146-160-115 primary inductance = 9H (100Hz, 0.3v) secondary inductance = 130mH (100Hz, 0.3v) primary resistance = 12ohms secondary resistance = 0.14ohms + 0.14ohms interwinding capacitance = 443pF can I use these numbers...

should be getting the results and figures of the tranny today too, with a bit of luck!

    help with IR2110 chips

power consumption = 15watt resistance of coil = 24ohm frequency of the AC = 50Hz current draw = 0.0652Amp voltage = 230volt can you find the inductance of the motor with these values? if so can you tell me the steps to do it?? thanks

    help with IR2110 chips

https://daycounter.com/Articles/How-To-Measure-Inductance.phtml found this site but the values of 1.3h and 50 ohm give better results tell me your thoughts on this

    help with IR2110 chips

found this Use the formula L = R * sqrt(3) / (2 * pi * f) and if I substitute R for 24ohm and frequency 50 I get 0.132H, but that is not good for the sim to be honest!

    yep!

    PWM on 12volt winch?

hmm ok I'm open to suggestion I take on board what you said about the tread mill motor will look into that, just looking for a heavy duty speed controllable motor let me know!

could you suggest a way of fixing a sprocket to this one...

    PWM on 12volt winch?

ok that is probably the most usefull thing that I have heard about yet, thanks man

    PWM on 12volt winch?

that's definatly a possibility never seen one before, what is the highest gear ratio you have come across because I still need the high torque, thanks

    help with IR2110 chips

if I get the actual resistance can you determine the inductance through a relationship equation?
  18. Maglatron

    help with IR2110 chips

ok so how do I find the inductance and resistance I mean I can just measure the resistance I just read you edit where did you aquire the 1.3H and the 50ohm

so do you know how to model a 15watt motor in spice Mr Alec_t,? or anybody else for that matter! it's one of these type!
